TOUCH

TOUCH is a silent, durational performance where two artists meet once a year to offer touch as dialogue. Guided by tactile listening and intuition, the piece unfolds through the simple act of offering a hand to the face of the other. It evolves over time and responds to its surroundings, exploring intimacy and presence beyond words and biographies. We meet only once a year to perform the piece, allowing time to become part of the work. 

The piece premiered at Bomuldsfabrikken Kunsthall, where it responded to a forest-themed exhibition space. Inspired by that, we now wish to continue exploring how different environments can shape the atmosphere and texture of TOUCH.
